You can send a Diwali greeting that opens like a small celebration instead of another forwarded image. On the H View Diwali greeting page, you type a name, add a short wish and send the link. The person who opens it lights the diyas, sets off a few crackers and launches a Sky Rocket that writes their name in the sky.

Three steps: type their name and wish, they open it and tap a diya, the Sky Rocket shows their name in the sky
Three steps: write it, send it, and they light it up. Tap the picture to start.

How do you make the greeting?

It takes about a minute and you do not need to sign up or download anything.

  1. Open hview.in/diwali on your phone or computer.
  2. Type the name of the person the greeting is for.
  3. Add a short wish if you like, and your own name so they know who sent it.
  4. Optional: tap Add a photo or logo to show a small round picture under their name. Families can add a friend's photo; companies can add their logo for customers and staff.
  5. Choose the crackers for their pack: Phooljhadi, Bhu Chakra, Anaar, Star Shower and Rangoli Burst. The Sky Rocket is always included because it reveals their name.
  6. Tap Preview to watch it yourself, then tap WhatsApp or Copy link to send it.

What does the person see when they open it?

They arrive at a home on a festive street at night. When they tap a diya, every lamp around the rangoli, on the steps, the balcony and the terrace lights up, followed by strings of bulbs across the house. When they launch the Sky Rocket, their name appears in light with fireworks bursting around it, along with your wish and your photo or logo if you added one. They can replay the reveal, and a Pass the light button lets them make a greeting for someone else.

Who is it good for?

  • Family members in another city who cannot be home this year.
  • Friends and colleagues you want to wish personally rather than in a group message.
  • Shops and companies wishing customers or staff with their own logo.
  • Children, who enjoy lighting the diyas and setting off the crackers themselves.

Is it safe to open and share?

The greeting asks for no phone number, email address or payment. The name, wish and any small photo travel inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded to our server and the page asks the person who opens it for no details. Sound is off until they turn it on.
