Why use this website keyword finder

Sometimes you need to know every place a word appears on your site: an old product name, a phone number that changed, a keyword you want to link internally, or a topic you want to check before writing a new post. Site search boxes and Google’s site: search miss pages and do not tell you where the word sits on the page.

This finder reads each page fully and reports the title, headings, link, text and image alt separately, so you can see whether a page truly targets the keyword or only mentions it once.

  • Exactly where it appearsTitle, meta description, H1, H2 to H6, page link, body text, image alt and link text.
  • Pages that miss it tooA second list shows the pages that do not mention the keyword, useful for internal linking.
  • Up to five keywordsCompare brand names, products or old terms you want to replace in one run.
  • Highlighted extractsSee the sentence around each match without opening the page.
  • Excel and CSVClean rows you can filter and sort, ready for content planning.

Questions people ask

How is this different from a Google site: search?

A site: search shows only pages Google has indexed and picks what to show. This finder reads the pages directly and tells you the count and the exact places the keyword appears.

Can I search for several keywords?

Yes, up to five at once. Separate them with commas in the Keywords box.

Does it search inside PDFs and images?

No. It searches web pages: their text, title, description, headings, links and image alt text.

Is the search case-sensitive?

No. “GST”, “gst” and “Gst” are all found.

Why use whole words?

Whole words avoids false matches, for example “tax” inside “taxi”. Choose Anywhere when you also want those.

From the H View blog

H View SEO tools read public web pages the way a search engine does, through a small reader on hview.in, and follow each site’s robots.txt. Reports are made in your browser and are not stored. Results show what the page says about itself; only Google Search Console shows how Google actually treats your site. Use them on sites you own or have permission to check.
