Why use this video converter

iPhones record MOV files, screen recorders often save WebM or MKV, and some apps only accept MP4. Converting to MP4 (H.264 video with AAC audio) is the safest choice: it plays on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and every social platform.

GIFs are handy for short reactions, product demos and how-to steps. Keep GIF clips short (under 10 seconds) and narrow (480 pixels) for small files. To cut the part you need first, use the Video Trimmer.

Questions people ask

How do I convert MOV to MP4?

Add the MOV file, choose MP4 and click Convert. The MP4 plays on all phones and computers.

How do I make a GIF from a video?

Choose GIF, set the width (480 pixels is a good default) and frame rate, then convert. Trim long videos first.

Why is WebM conversion slower?

WebM uses the VP8 encoder, which is slower than MP4’s H.264 in a browser. Choose MP4 unless you need WebM.

Is the converted video uploaded?

No. Conversion happens in your browser.

Does it keep the sound?

Yes for MP4, WebM and MOV. GIFs have no sound.
