Why use this pdf to word
A PDF is made for printing and sharing, not for editing. When you need to change a letter, update a resume or reuse a report, converting it to Word saves you from retyping. This converter reads the text of each page with its font sizes, bold and italic styles and colours, then rebuilds proper Word paragraphs, headings, lists and tables, so the document stays editable instead of turning into hundreds of floating text boxes.
PDFs with complex designs (magazine layouts, forms with many boxes, drawn charts) cannot come across exactly; drawings made of lines become empty space. For a picture of each page instead, use PDF to JPG, and to go back from Word to PDF, use Word to PDF.
- Real paragraphs, not boxesLines are joined back into paragraphs, so the text wraps and edits normally in Word.
- Tables and lists keptRows and columns become Word tables; bullets and numbered points become Word lists.
- Scans tooPages without a text layer are read with OCR in English, Hindi or Telugu.
- PrivateThe conversion runs in your browser. Your PDF is not uploaded to H View or anyone else.
Questions people ask
How do I convert a PDF to Word for free?
Add the PDF, press “Convert to Word” and download the .docx file. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no page limit beyond what your device can handle.
Will my PDF be uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and the Word file is written in your browser. Nothing is sent to H View.
Can it convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Yes. Pages that are pictures are read with OCR. Choose English, Hindi + English or Telugu + English for best results, and check the text afterwards.
Does it keep tables?
Tables whose text lines up in rows and columns become Word tables. Very complex layouts may need a little tidying in Word.
Why does my Word file look a little different from the PDF?
The converter rebuilds an editable document rather than copying each letter’s exact position, so line breaks and spacing follow Word. Fonts that are not installed on your computer are replaced by similar ones.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Only after removing the password. Open the PDF with its password and save a copy without one, then add that copy.
