Your opportunities
Expected CTR uses a rough industry benchmark by position. Real click-through rates vary with SERP features, brand and intent — treat gaps as a prompt to review, not a verdict.

Why use this search console opportunity finder
Search Console already knows where your quick wins are; they are just hard to see in a long table. This tool sorts your export into lists you can act on today: improve pages that rank 8 to 20, rewrite titles that get seen but not clicked, answer questions people already find you for, and fix pages that compete with each other.
- Almost on page oneQueries at positions 8 to 20 with real impressions, with the extra clicks a top-3 spot could bring.
- Low click-throughQueries and pages clicked well below what their position usually gets.
- Question ideasWho, what, how and why searches to answer as FAQs or new articles.
- CannibalisationSearches where two of your pages split the impressions.
Questions people ask
What is a striking distance keyword?
A search where a page already ranks around positions 8 to 20. Improving that page is often faster than writing a new one.
How do I see cannibalisation?
The standard export lists queries and pages separately. Upload a CSV with both a query and a page column, from the Search Console API or Looker Studio.
How is expected CTR worked out?
From a rough industry benchmark by position. Real click-through varies with search features, brand and intent, so treat gaps as a prompt to review.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Your files are read in your browser and never sent to H View.
